Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Full-Time Medical Assistant Float to join our healthcare team. We are an OBGYN practice with three locations in central New Jersey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in clinical setting in our Manalapan and Lakewood offices by providing essential support to physicians, nurses, and patients. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures including collecting medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. We currently use Athena EHR. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in assessing patient health. Assist with clinical tasks such as medication administration under supervision, specimen collection, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures. Assist physicians with procedures and or exams. Preparation and clean up of exam/procedure rooms. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred. Phlebotomy skills preferred. Prior experience in Women's Health/OBGYN is highly desirable. Experience working within EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding practices necessary for documentation accuracy.
