Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and hospital settings, including Level II Trauma Centers. This position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to perform vital tasks efficiently and compassionately. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Take and record vital signs accurately to ensure patient safety. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing support. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Stay updated on medical-surgical practices and protocols relevant to the role. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with medical terminology essential for effective communication. Experience in medication administration within a clinical setting. Background working in outpatient facilities or hospitals, particularly in trauma care environments. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
