We're looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our front office and clinical support team. Job Summary We're seeking a dual-role Receptionist/Medical Assistant to manage front desk operations while also assisting with clinical tasks. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required , as our practice serves a diverse patient population and clear communication is essential to quality care. Responsibilities Front Desk Duties:
Greet and check in/out patients in a warm, professional manner Answer multi-line phones, schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/deductibles Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Manage referrals, prior authorizations, and paperwork Communicate with patients and families in both
English and Spanish Medical Assistant Duties:
Room patients and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Assist physicians/PAs during exams and minor in-office procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment Apply/remove splints, braces, or casts as directed (training provided if needed) Assist with imaging coordination and documentation Call in prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies as directed Interpret/translate between patients and clinical staff as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual in English and Spanish — required (spoken and written) Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Prior experience in a medical office setting, orthopaedics a plus Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Strong communication and multitasking skills Compassionate, patient-first attitude Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes What We Offer Competitive pay, based on experience Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth
