  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office or clinic setting and be proficient in using electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
  • Responsibilities
  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups, utilizing computerized systems.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of care plans and documentation for patient visits.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Handle billing inquiries and process insurance claims efficiently.
  • Utilize 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry and record management.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Qualifications
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with care plans and medical administrative support functions is a plus.
