- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team.
- Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups, utilizing computerized systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of care plans and documentation for patient visits.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Handle billing inquiries and process insurance claims efficiently.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry and record management.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Qualifications
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with care plans and medical administrative support functions is a plus.
