About Us Hometown Pediatrics is a physician-led pediatric practice with offices in Wall and Freehold, NJ, dedicated to delivering excellent, evidence-based care rooted in long-term family relationships. We're part of the Watchung Pediatrics family, a network of pediatric practices serving New Jersey families since 1994. We're looking for a Part-Time (10-24 hours per week) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our pediatric practice. ABOUT THE ROLE
Welcome and support patients and families with warmth and professionalism Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare exam rooms Assist with sick and well visits Perform vision and hearing screenings Administer vaccines and medications under provider direction Complete pointofcare testing (strep, flu, urine, etc.) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Athena, our EMR Follow established workflows and help keep the day running smoothly Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and front office team Contribute positively to teamwork, communication, and office flow
QUALIFICATIONS
Active CMA/RMA certification (required) Pediatric experience preferred BLS/CPR certification Strong electronic medical record (EMR) skills (Athena experience a bonus) Microsoft and Google Suite proficient Must be willing to work at our second office in Freehold as needed You'll Be a
