We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. To be qualified for this position, you must hold a valid Medical Assistant certification and have prior Medical Assistant experience. In this role you will be part of a healthcare team that strives to deliver compassionate care to patients with a wide range of conditions and needs. Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

Escort patients from the waiting room to the exam room. Obtain patient's medical information and measure vital signs, height, and weight. Maintain the cleanliness of exam rooms and properly dispose of contaminated supplies. Administer injections. Perform EKG's and other services. Obtain prior authorization for prescribed medications and respond to refill requests. Call patients with test results and provide physician instructions.

Medical AssistantQualifications:

A valid Medical Assistant certification and prior Medical Assistant experience is required. Must be able to work a Monday to Friday work schedule with a one evening per week requirement (either Monday to 6:30 pm or Thursday to 7:30 pm - the earliest start time that you will need to be available for is 7:45 am) CPR certification required.
