Job Description
Sugi Psychiatry and Wellness is an outpatient mental health and psychiatry practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our community. We value professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment. We are looking for a qualified medical assistant to help with chart preparations, injections and administering TMS and spravato treatments. Candidates should have exceptional people skills, good time management and organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with in-office procedures and patient flow Administer Urine Drug Screenings and Breathalyzers Administer medication injections Administer TMS treatments Support medication refills and prior authorizations Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow clinic policies and procedures Provide compassionate, respectful patient interaction Assist with administrative or front-office tasks as needed to support clinic operations Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or primary care preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with patients experiencing mental health concerns Proficiency with EHR systems and basic clinical documentation Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as required for supplies or equipment Candidates will need to undergo background check and urine drug screens prior to hire.
