Overview Are you looking to grow your career in healthcare? Pahrump Family Medical is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our team! Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform EKG's, Injections, Ear Lavages, etc. ensuring proper protocols are followed. Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Educate patients on medication administration techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Experience Previous experience in a medical assistant role or similar position is required. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Familiarity with outpatient care practices and protocols is advantageous. Experience working in healthcare settings is a plus but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
