With 135 physicians specializing in primary and specialty care, and 187 staff members, the organization operates across 16 hospital and outpatient clinic locations in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area. UBMDIM serves as the largest practice group within UBMD Physicians' Group. Its team is committed to advancing healthcare by treating patients, training future medical professionals, and advancing research to discover new treatments. Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Multidisciplinary Clinic Float, based in Williamsville. The Multidisciplinary Clinic Float Float provides essential administrative and operational support across multiple UBMD Internal Medicine (UBMDIM) clinic departments. This role combines front desk coordination, call center, medical records, prior auth, and medical assistant duties to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-patient quality care. The Clinic Float is an extremely flexible team member who can be assigned to various departments based on staffing and operational needs. This role will require a presence at various UBMDIM clinic sites when needed. This role will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, rooming patients, checking vital and updating patient records. The role also assists with insurance eligibility checks and prior authorizations, . Additionally, they will help with managing medical records, handling clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient operation of the medical office. The role may also involve scheduling appointments, preparing patients for examinations, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. This is a great opportunity to work in a primary and specialty care clinic. Day shift Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays! Qualifications 1. Proficiency in Medical Assisting and familiarity with Medical Terminology 2. 1-2 years experience in a medical setting. 3. Experience in managing Medical Office workflows and handling Medical Records 4. Strong Patient Care skills with a focus on professionalism and empathy 5. Knowledge of healthcare standards and protocols 6. Excellent organizational and communication skills 7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 8. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred 9. Experience in an internal medicine or specialty care setting is a plus
