Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and organized individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Medical Assistant. This is a dual role position in a fast-paced Podiatry Practice, ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative and clinical responsibilities. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Review documentation for accuracy and completeness Assist healthcare providers with patient care plans and administrative tasks as needed. Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and maintaining office organization. Skills Experience with EMR systems is a plus. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, though not required. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Bilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing patient interactions. Familiarity with insurance verification processes and medical billing practices is a plus. Previous clinic experience is helpful but not required, training is provided. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
