Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, ambitious, and highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical procedures, medical documentation, and patient care. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our provider and the team by providing exceptional patient service, managing medical records, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties Duties may include, when appropriately trained and delegated: Measuring vital signs Documentation and electronic medical record support Scribing and entering physician-directed information Permitted specimen collection Wound dressing changes Certain suture or staple removal under the required physician supervision and after appropriate patient evaluation Patient education using physician-approved instructions Room and supply preparation Other supportive clinical duties that are legally permissible for an unlicensed individual
Required:
Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Dependability and punctuality Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Ability to work effectively as part of a physician-led clinical team Willingness to learn and follow established clinical protocols Current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
