Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Record patients' vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and sterilize equipment and supplies as per protocols. Assist physicians/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols. Prepare patient records for visits as directed by the physician/provider.Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma OR equivalent education/life experience. Demonstrated clinical competency, including proficiency in aseptic techniques, sterilization, practice management systems, EMR, and scheduling protocols. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with basic keyboard proficiency.Location and Travel Requirements:
Location- Rotate among all Cancer Center locations as needed:
Cayuga Medical Center Outpatient Infusion Cayuga Park Oncology East Campus Oncology Cortland Campus Oncology Cayuga Medical Center Radiation Medicine Schuyler Specialty Clinic-Oncology Shift:
Monday through Friday; rotating on-call for evening coverageTravel:
50% local travel can be expected in this role to cover at any of the above Cancer Center locationsPay Range Disclosure:
Standard rate of $18.50- $23.
