Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all clinical supplies are stocked and organized for daily procedures. Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and collection of specimens following safety protocols. Support patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate service to enhance patient experience. Document medical information accurately in medical records, including ICD coding and detailed notes on patient encounters. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical documentation with precision. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with knowledge of medical terminology. Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR/EHR management tools. Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and specimen collection. Prior experience working in a Pediatric setting preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation and records management.
