Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient dermatology setting. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care while maintaining a smooth workflow within the practice. Duties Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment and stocking the rooms with supplies regularly. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up appointments. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is required. Knowledge of outpatient care practices and familiarity with dermatology is highly desirable. Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus but not mandatory.
