PM Job Description:
Looking for full-time Medical Assistant for a busy primary care office location in Monroe, NY. Will train as Medical Assistant if has Medical Assistant Certificate (is a new grad out of school for MA). Must know how to take vitals. Phlebotomy experience preferred, not required (will train). The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in a primary care setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and assisting with patient intake.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests as directed by the physician.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms.
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and handle insurance documentation.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and follow up on test results and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
  • Adhere to HIPPA standards
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • certification from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. How to
