Job Description

We are looking for a driven and highly organized Medical Assistant to support our fast-paced IV therapy and pain management clinic. In this role, you will work directly alongside a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience, serving as the essential liaison between clinical operations and patient wellness. This position offers a rare, hands-on mentorship opportunity. It is perfect for someone who ultimately wants to become a practitioner, enter the medical field, or run their own healthcare business. You will gain a deep, practical understanding of the healthcare market, including prescribing protocols, administering treatments, medical compliance, and safety standards. What You'll Do;
  • Serve as the primary support for the Nurse Practitioner, bridging the gap between clinical duties and patient wellness.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, record detailed medical histories, measure vitals, and assist the NP with wellness procedures and pain management treatments.
  • Manage daily appointment calendars, coordinate patient check-ins and check-outs, and ensure smooth clinic flow.
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic patient files, wellness intake forms, and specific treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on healthy habits, post-treatment care, and the benefits of our specific therapies.
  • Perform necessary clerical work, ensuring all appropriate medical paperwork and compliance documentation is perfectly maintained and up to date.
