Job Description

Ossining Family Optometry is looking to add to our growing office team. We are an eye care facility that provides medical eye care as well as routine glasses and contact lens services. Any potential candidate should be willing to work in a fast paced environment with other staff members while maintaining a professional, patient-centered experience.
Duties include:
Prepare rooms for the day Escort patients to room; prepare patients for examinations Ask parent or patient about chief complaint and document Perform vision screening as necessary and document in chart according to standing protocols Clean and restock rooms and equipment Relay messages as may be required by physician Prepare instruments for sterilization Other duties as assigned This job opening is for afternoon to early evening hours, average of 6 hours per shift. Office days are Monday through Thursday and Saturday. Fridays and Sundays are off. Employee receive 30 minutes of paid lunch. Fluency in Spanish is recommended for the position.
