Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are a busy Occupational Medicine office, the position includes patient vitals, rooming of patients, venipuncture, hearing/vision testing, etc. We would also provide training to become a certified drug and alcohol collector. This position will be 2-4 days each week, 5-7 hrs daily. Additional responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures. Manage phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and scheduling appointments efficiently. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as intake assessments, documentation review. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry using Microsoft Office tools, and managing office supplies to support daily clinic operations. Support fellow staff with appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and reminder notifications to optimize clinic flow. Qualifications Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
