Responsibilities Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate provider calendars to optimize patient flow. Handle internal communication with medical staff to ensure seamless clinic operations. Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient information. Assist patients with check-in procedures, answer phone inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service. Process insurance claims, manage third-party billing, and verify health insurance coverage details. Support revenue cycle management by tracking payments, following up on outstanding balances, and ensuring timely billing. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards. Requirements - MUST
HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS PRIOR MEDICAL EXPERIENCE
Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or medical offices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Knowledge of managed care processes and health insurance terminology. Strong schedule management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent internal communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and data entry accuracy. Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone communication abilities. Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance billing procedures, and revenue cycle management practices.
