Medical Assistant (MA)
Location:
Stony Brook, Commack & Riverhead - Must be able to travel to all 3 locations once or twice a week!

M - F 8:30-5:30 We are currently seeking Medical Assistants to join practices affiliated with a prestigious medical center. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will provide both clinical and administrative support to physicians and healthcare staff. This role requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Support physicians and clinical staff with patient care Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments Record patient medical history and vital signs Administer injections and medications as directed Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory procedures Schedule appointments and maintain medical records Provide patients with instructions for follow-up and at-home care Assist with general clinical and clerical duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required EMR/EHR and computer experience required Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
