Medical Assistant Avon - Primary Care University Hospitals United States, Ohio, Avon 1997 Healthway Drive (Show on map) Aug 25, 2026 A Brief Overview This position is responsible for fully performing basic Medical Assistant duties. What You Will Do Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow.
Responsible for all front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
