Medical Assistant, Pain Medicine; Full-time, 7:30-4pm Western Reserve Hospital - 3.5 Cuyahoga Falls, OH Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification High school diploma or GED Medical assisting Full Job Description Medical assistants are responsible for providing physician support and ensuring the facility is running smoothly. This support is offered through many varied administrative tasks such as patient scheduling, assisting with referrals and authorizations, answering phones, filing, documenting, scanning, and faxing. Medical assistants also perform a variety of clinical duties such as preparing exam rooms, collecting patient vitals and specimens, assisting in minor surgical procedure injections, and other routine tasks as assigned. Education and Training High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program. MA certification or registration within 6 months of hire. BLS required.
Experience:
One (1) year related medical office experience; or 160-hour externship completed within the last five years in a medical/office setting.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
