Job Description

Our busy physician's office is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This full-time role is essential to ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, collecting vital signs, reviewing chief complaints, current medications, point of care testing and accurately documenting information in the electronic health record (EHR). Additional responsibilities include completing referrals, prior authorizations, care management tasks, and administering immunizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients in a professional and courteous manner Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns Review and update medication lists Enter clinical information into the EHR accurately and efficiently Complete referrals and prior authorizations Assist with care management and follow-up tasks Administer immunizations per office guidelines Complete Point of Care Testing Support providers and maintain smooth clinic operations
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant experience required; certification preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Professional appearance and commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail Must have reliable transportation Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance
