Job Description

Southwest General Health Center is a 352-bed community hospital located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. One of the last standing community hospitals in Northeast Ohio, we partner with University Hospitals and other local community organizations to provide a full range of services to all who need us. PHYSICIAN TIMESHARE

Southwest General Physician Timeshare is convenient located at three location: Middleburg Heights, Strongsville, and Brunswick. This office operates as a multi-specialty practices (i.e. podiatry, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, and lab).

HOURS:

Monday

•Friday, 8:30 A.M.

•5:00 P.M., with varied start and end times

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist physicians and staff for general patient care and clerical duties in a physician office

•outpatient setting. Demonstrates initiative to take appropriate action in day-to-day activities without being prompted. Able to problem solve and stay current with Healthcare and payor regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

High school graduate, minimum; certification from approved school with certificate in Medical assisting preferred. Medical terminology required. Able to perform computer entry and basic office computer skills.

Required length of experience:

Externship of at least 100 hours or 6 months previous office/OP setting experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply. Required licensure, certification, and/or registry: Medical Assisting certificate preferred.
