Job description: Eye Surgery of Eastern Ohio is a busy ophthalmology surgery practice seeking a medical technician. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and services.

THIS POSITION IS EITHER PART TIME 3 DAYS A WEEK IN ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OR IF YOU WANT FULL TIME MUST COME TO OUR CAMBRIDGE OFFICE 2 DAYS A WEEK ADDITIONAL.

Responsibilities include: Check in patients, medical history, reason of visit Check vision, any testing the patient would need done EHR Charting Making our patients feel comfortable while in our office Following the doctor Getting surgery paperwork in order Getting charts ready for the next patient day Scanning charts Assisting in minor office procedures Attention to detail is a must Applicant must have: Multitasking skills DEPENDABLE and on time Attention to detail Medical background is a must EHR experience a plus Great bedside manner a must Retaining and relaying communication to the patient and office staff a must Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information
