Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) — Zanesville, OH $18.12-$21.01/hour
  • Full-time
  • Monday-Friday
  • No nights, no weekends, no on-call
  • New graduates welcome!
If you're working twelve-hour shifts, rotating weekends, or picking up call, you know what that costs you. At PrimeCare of Southeastern Ohio, our medical assistants work a set weekday schedule in an outpatient primary care office and get to know their patients by name. We're hiring a CMA in Zanesville to care for families across Muskingum and the surrounding counties. What you'll actually do You'll be paired with a provider and a small care team .
A typical day looks like:
Rooming and assessment — histories, vitals, and getting patients ready for their visit. Clinical support — assisting during exams and in-office procedures. Injections, immunizations, and specimen collection , plus processing lab orders and results. Charting in Epic — accurate documentation as you go, so nothing follows you home. (Epic experience is a plus, not a must — we'll train you.) Patient follow-up — calling with results, scheduling, and checking in on how people are doing. Keeping the day moving — patient flow, rooms stocked, and a calm clinic. What we're looking for An active medical assistant credential — CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), or NCMA (NCCT). Graduating soon? . We'll hire you before you test and support you through certification. Genuine warmth with patients. Our patients are our neighbors. Many have been coming here for years. Organization under pressure — you can hold three things at once and still catch the detail that matters. Primary care experience is a plus, not a requirement. We've trained excellent MAs who came from a hospital floor, a specialty office, or straight out of school. Pay and benefits
Pay:
$18.12-$21.01/hour , based on experience and credential. 401(k) with company match — 25% match up to 6% of wages .
