Job Description

DEFINITION
Has thorough knowledge of test and specimen requirements and assists in lab as needed. Able to order and or maintain general lab supplies. Responsibilities include specimen processing, distribution, tracking, and managing specimens for send-out testing. Able to function as a non-testing laboratory assistant in the lab and assists staff as needed with specimen issues.
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent (non testing)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a laboratory assistant. Certified Phlebotomist Certified Laboratory Assistant Basic Computer knowledge required High School graduate or equivalent Previous laboratory experience highly recommended.
