The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), medical assisting tasks, and a strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering high-quality healthcare services. Duties Perform medical assisting tasks such as preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and assisting providers during procedures. Work up charts Manage electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and properly documented. Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing their needs with professionalism and compassion. Assist with medical documentation, including recording clinical notes, updating patient histories, and processing paperwork. Support the medical office team in daily operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment in compliance with safety standards. Follow all healthcare regulations and privacy policies to protect patient confidentiality. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or similar healthcare environment is preferred. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record management. We use ECW Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service. Knowledge of medical assisting procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Certification as a Medical Assistant is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training or coursework is acceptable. Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
