Job Description

Join Our Team! An established, privately owned medical practice is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping patients, takes pride in their work, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Medical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM One-hour lunch break No weekends or major holidays Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories Assist the provider during exams and minor procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Perform basic clinical duties and diagnostic testing (training provided) Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify insurance information and assist with administrative tasks Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office Cross-train in both clinical and front office responsibilities Work as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required Previous medical office experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent computer and multitasking abilities Dependable with excellent attendance Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team We're Looking for
