Medical Assistant (MA) Total Health & Wellness - Wagoner, Oklahoma Are you motivated, dependable, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced medical practice? Total Health & Wellness is looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant to join our Wagoner team. We are a growing, patient-focused practice specializing in Primary Care, Chronic Pain Management, Weight Management, and Wellness Services. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding patient care while maintaining high standards of efficiency, professionalism, and teamwork. This is not a position for someone looking to do the bare minimum. We are seeking an individual who enjoys staying busy, embraces learning, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care every day. What You'll Do Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories. Assist providers with examinations and procedures. Administer injections and perform clinical duties within scope. Process medication refills and prior authorizations. Utilize electronic health records (EHR) efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with providers. Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient, every time. Help keep clinic flow efficient while maintaining quality care. Work as part of a team that supports one another and puts patients first. What We're Looking For Medical Assistant certification not required But preferred experience Primary care experience is highly preferred. Medication knowledge is a strong plus. EHR experience preferred. Strong computer and technology skills are highly desirable. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Data entry experience, insurance, customer service rep wanting to learn we will train for the right person. We are willing to train the right motivated individual who has a strong work ethic and a passion for helping patients. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and the value you bring to our team.
