Medical Assistant - Busy Oncology/Hematology Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Are you an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Medical Assistant looking for a stable clinic position in a rewarding specialty? Join our busy, private oncology/hematology practice where you'll play a key role in delivering excellent patient care. We're seeking a reliable, self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real difference for patients facing cancer. No nights or evenings, no weekends, and no call — just meaningful work with great work-life balance.
What You'll Do:
Perform vital signs (including manual blood pressure), phlebotomy, and medication injections Handle scheduling for scans, labs, referrals, and track results Manage prior authorizations and medication refills Conduct telephone triage Document thoroughly in our EMR system (scanning, attaching documents, etc.) Restock exam rooms and support efficient clinic flow Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care to our patients This is a hands-on role in a small, close-knit team. You'll stay busy, learn every day, and work directly with our providers to support patients through their treatment journey.
