Job Description
Family Foot Care is looking to hire a certified Medical Assistant for its Butler, PA medical office. Some traveling will be required for nearby medical offices and nursing homes. What makes Family Foot Care a great place to work? We are a friendly, team-oriented team working in a fast-paced environment where we take excellent care of patients' lower extremities needs. Family Foot Care offers patient care appointments during daylight hours and two evenings per week, with no weekends or holidays. As a Medical Assistant at FFC, you will be involved with all aspects of patient care. You will greet and interact with patients, room and collect patient vitals, assist with in-office procedures and perform bandage changes. Under the guidance of the physicians, you will learn special skills such as casting for orthotic/prosthetic devices, applying specialized bandages, and you will even perform certain routine foot care procedures such as nail debridement. You will administrate specific orders for outside testing, imaging, bloodwork, referrals etc., as well as assist with documentation for each patient encounter in the EMR.
