Certified Medical Assistant - Outpatient Surgical Practice (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Full-Time or Part-Time About Us We are a fast-paced and patient-centered outpatient surgical practice providing exceptional care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who is professional, reliable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for exams and surgical consultations Room patients, record vital signs, and update medical histories Assist providers during office procedures and minor surgeries Manage pre-op and post-op documentation and patient instructions Perform clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, wound care, and specimen collection (per certification scope) Handle EMR documentation and maintain accurate patient records Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment Support the surgical team with administrative and clinical tasks as needed Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards at all times

Qualifications Required:

CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent medical assistant certification Minimum 1-2 years of medical assisting experience (surgical or specialty experience preferred) Strong understanding of clinical workflows and medical terminology Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy outpatient setting Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities available Monday-Friday schedule; no nights, weekends, or major holidays Flexible hours based on practice needs Compensation & Benefits (Customize as needed) Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) PTO, paid holidays, and retirement plan options Opportunities for ongoing education and advancement How to Apply Please submit your résumé through Indeed.
