Job Description
Company Overview Pennsylvania Retina Specialists, PC is a large sub-specialty ophthalmology practice that has been serving patients in the central Pennsylvania region for over 46 years. We are committed to providing our patients with the most advanced, progressive and highest quality retina care in a compassionate, caring environment. Summary We are seeking full-time ophthalmic medical assistants/technicians to join our growing practice. Our ophthalmic medical assistants & technicians perform patient intake by taking medical histories, obtaining patients' visual acuities, and performing diagnostic testing, as well as assisting physicians with procedures, among other duties. Our ophthalmic assistants & technicians are required to travel as needed to satellite locations, including Hershey, York, and State College.
Successful candidates will be compassionate & possess good communication skills as well as thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and previous experience in healthcare-related fields preferred.
