Job Description

Under direction of supervisor or physician provides direct patient care in a high-volume and fast-paced retina-specialty ophthalmology setting. This position may function as an administrative or clinical employee depending upon the daily needs of the practice. Registers patients for treatment by phone or in person. Enters insurance information and verifies coverage. Verifies authorization for treatment. Receives and prepares patients for examination and/or treatment. Documents patient information in the patient electronic medical record. Assists with procedures in office. COA Certification a plus Has interest in learning about this specialty and potential to increase responsibilities over time. Salary based on experience, education and skill set. On-the job training provided. Benefits for full-time employees. Multiple office locations. Must be willing to travel up to 50% to other locations to see patients.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
