Job Summary Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a busy General Surgery practice in Doylestown, PA. Great opportunity for candidates with strong clinical skills, excellent patient care, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare patients for exams and procedures Obtain vital signs and patient medical histories Assist physicians with procedures and testing Collect and process specimens Perform EKGs and injections Assist with patient mobility and transportation Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies Follow sterilization, infection control, and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Support efficient patient flow and provide excellent patient/family service Assist with pre-certifications and workflow improvements May assist with training new staff or interns Requirements Minimum 18 months of Medical Assistant experience EPIC experience highly preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Highly motivated, dependable, and eager to learn Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills

PennChart Training:

4-hour training for MAs, held Fridays from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM Required training must be completed prior to start Attire Burgundy/Maroon Scrubs Important This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
