Job Description
Job Summary The Well Woman Co is seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our new OBGYN practice. This position offers opportunity for full-time employment in the future. In this dedicated clinical role, you will provide vital back-office support to our providers and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for our patients. The ideal candidate is organized, skilled, and experienced in clinical procedures, with the ability to maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vital signs, and thoroughly document patient histories, medications, and chief complaints in the electronic health record (EHR) ModMed. Assist OBGYN providers with physical examinations, pelvic exams, routine screenings, and minor in-office procedures. Prepare, sanitize, and stock examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments in strict accordance with safety and OSHA/compliance protocols. Administer medications and injections, perform phlebotomy, and collect or process lab specimens as ordered by providers. Process prescription refills, manage lab tracking and follow-ups, and handle clinical patient inquiries/triage under provider supervision. Maintain clinical supply inventory and ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
