Advanced Foot & Ankle Wellness Center is a growing private podiatry practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly, team-oriented environment. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant who is eager to learn, enjoys working directly with patients, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with our practice. Whether you have previous medical assisting experience or are newer to the field with the right attitude and work ethic, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Schedule Monday:
11:15 AM•7:00
PM Wednesday:
7:15 AM•2:30
PM Friday:
7:15 AM•3:00 PM Every other
Thursday:
7:30 AM•2:00 PM Position Summary This is primarily a clinical Medical Assistant position with occasional front desk responsibilities as needed. We are a fast-paced specialty practice, and the ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping patients while working as part of a collaborative team. Primary Responsibilities Room patients and obtain/update medical histories Prepare patients for examination and assist the physician during procedures Dispense and properly fit CAM boots, braces, orthotics, compression stockings, and other durable medical equipment (DME) Complete DME paperwork, ABNs, and required documentation accurately Cast or perform digital scans for custom orthotics (training provided) Assist with digital X-rays (or become certified after hire) Prepare, clean, and stock treatment rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment Monitor and restock medical supplies Maintain accurate electronic medical records Assist with additional clinical duties as needed Front Office Responsibilities (Occasional) Check patients in and out Schedule appointments and follow-up visits Collect copays and patient balances Answer telephones and assist patients professionally Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record Assist with general administrative duties Qualifications Medical Assistant experience is preferred but not required We are willing to train a motivated candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable learning electronic medical record systems Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team player with a willingness to learn and grow Preferred Qualifications Experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or another medical specialty Experience fitting or dispensing DME Digital X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain after hire) What We Offer Paid, structured training and mentorship Supportive private practice with a collaborative team Opportunity to learn specialty podiatric medicine and procedures Cross-training in both clinical and front office skills Consistent weekday schedule Opportunity for advancement as the practice continues to grow A positive work environment that values teamwork, accountability, and professional development Who We're Looking For We value attitude just as much as experience. Pay:
