LMG Family Pactice is a large well-established family practice with three locations seeking an experienced Part time/PRN Medical Assistant to help support our clinical needs . Seeking a Medical Assistant that is friendly, compassionate, and professional. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working as part of a team, will have a background in outpatient office clinical settings, and will be comfortable performing a variety of clinical tasks.

Responsibilities:

Support the office performing a variety of functions within the care team as directed by the providers, clinical manager, and direct supervisors. Provide medical care to patients (such as prepare medical tools and instruments, give injections, take blood pressure); record patient's history, vital signs, venipuncture, etc. Communicate via telephone to coordinate patient care, such as medication refills, results, and other medical questions. Assist with clinical paperwork via faxing and filing and chart PREP.

Requirements:

Experience in outpatient medical office setting strongly preferred Current Pennsylvania CMA credential - experience will be considered in lieu of credentials Ability to perform EKG - preferred Strong computer skills and experience with an electronic health record. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as a team. Must be professional, pleasant, and calmly handle stressful situations. Must be able to pass background check . Regular and predictable on-site attendance

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
