Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community. Job Responsibilities Escorts patients to the exam room and documents chief complaints Documents patient care in the electronic medical record Assists physician and/or nurse practitioner by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients in the practice. Greets patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion Responds in a timely manner and keeps patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations. Assists physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting for at least 3-5 years. You will be required to test for credentials within 90 days from the hire date using one of the approved credentialing bodies: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) /
