Dermatology Medical Assistant - Six months dermatology experience preferred. Come grow with us! We are looking for an experienced dermatology medical assistant or LPN to join our team. Commonwealth Dermatology is a full-service dermatology practice with a focus on Mohs surgery, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding patient care and customer service. Our medical assistants and nurses work hand-in-hand with the doctor and physician assistant(s) to keep the office running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Rooming patients and taking clinical histories Acting as a scribe for the provider Assisting in surgical procedures such as Mohs micrographic surgery Providing patient education Maintaining various biopsy logs and medical inventories. The successful candidate will have the following skills: Previous dermatology experience Enthusiastic, can-do attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfort with iPads and computers (we are a paperless office) An absolute commitment to providing excellent patient care and a desire to make patients happy! Six months dermatology experience preferred.
