Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a caring and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role combines front-office administrative support, ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in maintaining accurate medical records, managing electronic health records (EHR), and supporting clinical workflows .This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your skills in an evenly-paced, patient-centered environment. Interest in occasional medical assisting preferred. Will train. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow. Assist with cleanliness of clinical areas Handle administrative responsibilities such as answering phones, managing EMR/EHR data entry, processing referrals and payments, and maintaining medical records securely. Occasional medical assisting dependent on interest level Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting with knowledge of medical office management and administrative support functions. Interest in occasional medical assisting preferred Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse patient populations including geriatrics or pediatric patients. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in medical documentation and records management.
