We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and guide them through their visit. Take and record vital signs, perform patient intake assessments, and document medical histories accurately. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as exams, procedures, and DME fitting Manage medical records, ensure proper documentation of patient encounters, and update electronic health records (EHR/EMR). Support medical office operations by , managing patient flow, and handling administrative tasks related as needed. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to OSHA safety protocols and infection control standards.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or at least 1 year of clinical experience. Strong understanding of medical office procedures. Orthopedic experience a plus. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and electronic medical records management. Skilled in patient service delivery with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care. Ability to perform clinical procedures including , vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) Knowledge of medical documentation standards and medical records management practices. Ability to adapt to changing environments and work both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements and Work Enviroment:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move comfortably during a full shift and occasionally lift up to 50lbs May be required to travel between office locations.
