Role:
Our specialty clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with experience in primary care to join our team. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Required Experience:
ECW (eClinicalWorks) experience
  • required Primary care experience
  • required Experience working with HEDIS measures
  • required Minimum of 1 year of hands-on clinical experience Phlebotomy Certification
  • mandatory Certified Medical Assistant
  • preferred Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • mandatory Strong understanding of medical terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills
Clinical Responsibilities:
Take patient medical histories (medical, social, family, and surgical) Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, oxygen levels, temperature) Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during exams Explain treatment procedures to patients and ensure comfort Perform venipuncture, injections, and administer medications as directed Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and schedule lab pickups Perform basic lab tests and review lab results Prepare and restock exam rooms and maintain weekly medical supply inventory Remove sutures, change dressings, and support patient follow-up care Transmit prescription refills as directed Instruct patients on medication use, treatment plans, and special diets Complete any additional tasks assigned by the physician or manager
Administrative Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently Answer phones and assist with front desk operations as needed Document all patient interactions accurately in ECW (eClinicalWorks)

Requirements:
Medical Assistant certification Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Reliable transportation is required
