- A Medical Assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Hours:

Providing Patient Care:
- Under the direction of the Clinician, providing care to patients by assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient's visit and condition. +
Effective Communication:
- Communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. +
Team Collaboration:
- Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + •This position requires one of the following:•Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant programORat least one year of Medical Assistant work experienceOR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Colorado + Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Medical Assistant Resident Minimum Qualifications
- + Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare provider +
- Required to enroll in a Medical Assistant program within six months of hire and complete within twelve months of enrollment.
- + Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.
- Physical Requirements
- + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
