Due to continued client growth and expansion, we're looking for the right Medical Credentialing Assistant to join our team. Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Ability to follow guidelines and directions to complete and track the medical credentialing process for medical and mental health provider practices and facilities.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize client needs.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Experience and proficiency working with Windows operating systems (Word, Adobe, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Loop etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to professionally communicate (both written and verbally) with medical and mental health providers, office staff and health insurance companies.
- Team player mentality.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities Assist in the credentialing process by verifying healthcare providers' qualifications and ensuring compliance with NCQA standards. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain accurate records and documentation. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with managed care organizations to streamline credentialing procedures and enhance operational efficiency. Stay updated on medical terminology and industry regulations to support effective communication within the medical office.
