Tinley Park, IL Job Details Part-time $16.00 - $28.33 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Free parking On-the-job training Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication BLS Certification In-person customer service HIPAA Patient service Driver's License Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable, motivated Mobile Medical Assistant to perform on-site health screenings at community locations, workplaces, events, and partner sites. This role combines clinical skills , community outreach , and logistical coordination , including assisting with identifying and securing locations for health screening events. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment while representing our health and wellness mission. Key Responsibilities/Clinical & Screening Duties Perform on-site health screenings, which may include: Blood pressure measurements Height, weight, and BMI Fingerstick blood glucose and/or cholesterol testing (as applicable) Basic vital signs Prepare and sanitize equipment before, during, and after screenings Accurately document screening results according to company and HIPAA standards Provide clear, professional explanations of screening procedures to participants Escalate abnormal findings to the supervising clinician per protocol Mobile & Event Operations Travel to assigned screening locations (worksites, community centers, events, etc.) Set up and break down mobile screening stations efficiently Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management of restocking needs Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and privacy protocols Outreach & Location Development Assist in identifying potential locations for future health screening events Engage with businesses, organizations, and community groups to support screening opportunities Communicate location details, schedules, and logistical needs to management Represent the organization professionally when interacting with partners and the public Qualifications Required Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience Current CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of basic vital signs and screening procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and travel to multiple locations Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Comfortable working in community-based and non-traditional clinical settings Preferred Experience with mobile health screenings or community health events Phlebotomy or fingerstick testing experience Sales, outreach, or community engagement experience Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and transport screening equipment (up to 30-40 lbs) Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends based on event schedules What We Offer Flexible scheduling Opportunity to work in community-focused health and wellness Supportive team environment Training on company screening protocols and mobile operations Growth opportunities within a mission-driven organization How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief statement of interest highlighting relevant clinical and outreach experience.
