Overview Clearline Dermatology is a growing, and we are looking for a dependable, energetic Medical Assistant to join our team at our brand new Daniel Island office. Previous dermatology or medical assisting experience is welcome, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. We care most about finding someone who is intelligent, kind, organized, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a clinical team. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced dermatology practice. You will work directly with providers to deliver compassionate and excellent patient care.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Welcome patients, obtain medical histories, and document the medical encounter Assist providers during skin examinations and office procedures Prepare patients and rooms for patient care, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures Set up and assist with minor surgeries Perform suture removals, post-operative wound checks, and dressing changes Document patient visits accurately in the electronic medical record Communicate and call patients with laboratory and pathology results as directed by the provider Help manage prescription requests, prior authorizations, patient messages, and follow-up care Stock exam rooms, maintain supplies, and keep clinical areas organized Support teammates wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
