Job Description

Full Time, 1st Shift, 7:30a-6:00p, Monday-Thursday, Rotating Friday Schedule The Clinical Support Specialist II is responsible for performing work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice as needed. Completes initial patient clinical assessment. Performs and documents all office procedures (EKG, stress test, eye exam, ear irrigation, strep, urine, flu, blood collection, etc.) Performs needed immunizations and provide preventative services according to practice standing orders. Assists provider by working within their scope of competence to fill in medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, return patient phone calls and other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.

• Post high school/medical studies with certifications as Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required. Must obtain certification within 3 months of hire required Must hold and maintain active certification or registry in medical assisting
