We're excited to invite a skilled professional to join our Myrtle Beach team as a Full-Time Medical Assistant. General Dermatology Medical Assistant Medical Assistant Responsibilities :
(Included, but not limited to)
  • Assisting all Providers/Reps/Coordinators/Managers in support of delivering expert medical care to our patients
  • Direct interaction with patients (Greeting/Collecting intake info/Setting up Exam Rooms, Assisting in surgeries and biopsies and other medical procedures, scribing throughout the entire patient visit)
  • Other Day-to-day tasks include fax correspondence, answering patient messages, stocking rooms, filling syringes, sterilizing instruments etc.
  • Deliver our mission of bringing state-of-the-art expertise and patient care to our clientele.
Requirements of the
Medical Assistant:
  • Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with either CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification preferred
  • Medical Assistant experience or the equivalent thereof in a high-volume medical setting with the ability to read, write and interpret medical terminology
  • Scheduling flexibility to be able to work morning/afternoon/evening hours four days per week
  • Demonstrated ability and strong commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service principles
  • Positive and energetic attitude which inspires other team members
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with an ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Aptitude to communicate effectively, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and solve problems independently or in a group
  • Technology proficiency is critical, including previous EMR/EHR experience as well as working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Word and Outlook, EMA preferred
  • Scribe/Document for the provider while in the room. -Assist in surgery, and many more medical procedures throughout the day This position will require the ability to work the following hours and travel:
  • All MAs are full time 35-40 hours.
The specific daily schedule varies depending on provider and location 4 days a week (Monday- Thursday or Tuesday- Friday)

Requirements:
Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with either CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification -OR- Emergency Medical Technician certification; as well as a high school diploma and one year experience as a Medical Assistant
